Love can look like a lot of things …

if you take the time and heart to see and feel.

Hello! I’m Joyce Judisun Chansingh, founder and owner of J.Judisun Photography. Thank you for stopping by.

I’m a self-taught photographer specialising in documentary and lifestyle shoots for families, children, newborns and couples.

Documenting stories and memories that matter, and photos that speak to the heart, my Intuitive Photography style is largely driven by my own life story.

Inspired by the stories of everyday life, family and childhood are two of my biggest obsessions.

Through my creative work, I hope to bring you joy by showing you what it’s like to truly see and feel the love and beauty amid the mundane and mayhem that surround us.

In 2017, I was featured on History Channel’s Canon Photo Photo-Off Season 4 where I finished 2nd in the competitive photography reality TV show.

Aside from photography, I’m also a freelance content producer for online publications focusing on human interest photo essays and profile-driven interview stories.

family session

What does life with your loved ones look like from the side? As a mother to 3 rad kiddos, I savour motherhood as much as I feel trapped in an emotional conflict some days. Do you feel the same? Still, there is joy and beauty to be found in the chaos. My job as your photographer is to document your family’s unique story and turn the mundane into a visual of love language. Sessions are done either in-home or outdoor; fun, relaxed and in natural light.

couple session

Life is far more interesting when love is odd and crazy, isn’t it? Sometimes, I do get requests from couples, who prefer more laid-back and photojournalistic photos of their engagement, solemnisation and actual day intimate weddings.
So hit me up if my photos speak to you, and we can work out a customised package together!

personal project

From play school to kindergarten, this personal photo project documenting my youngest child, Jones’ school-day morning temperaments has been three years in the making.
Here’s a glimpse into his morning dread that will speak to the “I am no morning person” type in some of us.
